Meet Teddy’s, Enmore’s Charming New Neighbourhood Bar

Bars, Sydney / 10 October 2023

Enmore, nestled in Sydney’s Inner West, warmly embraces Teddy’s as the newest addition to the neighbourhood, offering delightful cocktails and memorable times.

This charming addition to the community is perched above the beloved Warren View Hotel, skillfully merging the time-honoured character of the original space with a contemporary flair.

Owned and operated by the Damianakis family for the past 15 years, Teddy’s embodies their core values of generosity, warmth, and authenticity. You’ll sense these values in the welcoming atmosphere – it is a place where everyone is wholeheartedly welcomed.

The centrepiece of the venue is the bar adorned with elegant arches, almost resembling a piece of art. Surrounded by velvet lounges and set against the backdrop of exposed brick and ceiling, it’s this blend of modern aesthetics and rustic charm that defines the unique ambience.

Teddy’s finds itself in a fitting spot amidst this craft beer haven of the Inner West and distinguishes itself by offering an all-Australian drinks menu that celebrates the best of local beverages. For cocktail lovers, each creation features spirits from independent local distilleries. The Golden Hour proved to be a favourite, featuring a blend of Archie Rose Botanical Vodka, Banks and Solander Limoncello, Lillet, and orange blossom as did the St Theo Spritz, with Poor Toms Imbroglio, prosecco, rosemary and soda.

But if you’re more of a craft beer enthusiast, Teddy’s has a delightful surprise of its own – the limited edition Teddy’s Sour Ale, a collaboration with Grifters Brewery. This unique brew combines the flavours of cherry and vanilla, a testament to the venue’s commitment to embracing the local craft scene and providing patrons with something special.

When it comes to food, the menu is designed to be shared. We couldn’t resist the Baked Conquerant Camembert, a heavenly blend of gooey goodness infused with hints of lemon thyme, agave, and macadamia, and the freshly baked Focaccia that practically melted in our mouths.

For those seeking something fresh, the Tuna Crudo with finger lime, soy and veggie crisps is an excellent choice, as well as the Scallops served with chilli grapes and blood lime. No matter your choice, Teddy’s menu is crafted to ensure that every dish complements the others.

In a neighbourhood known for its warmth and charm, Teddy’s fits right in, offering a perfect spot for locals and visitors alike. Teddy’s is open Wednesday to Saturday, 5 – 12am and Sunday, 5 – 10pm.
