A New Gnoccheria Has Landed In Sydney: Introducing Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers

Eat, Sydney / 7 July 2021

Coronavirus isn’t stopping Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers from setting up camp in Newtown!

Yes, that’s right. The name is Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers with two gnocchis. Double the gnocchi means double the deliciousness, right? The restaurant is dedicated to the holy grail of Italian food, that is gnocchi, making it Australia’s first-ever dedicated Gnoccheria.

The humble concept launched as a market stall in Brisbane and gnocchi addicts simply couldn’t get enough. Its popularity grew and as did its postcodes with 6 new restaurants across Queensland. Even during the Coronavirus outbreak, the restaurant has expanded further and opened in Sydney. I guess they thought Sydneysiders could use a bit of fluffy gnocchi goodness during the lockdown (and they were absolutely right). The 60-seat restaurant on King Street is set to open its doors for hungry gnocchi heads as soon as Gladys says the word GO.

So what’s on the menu? As you would have guessed, mostly gnocchi. But this isn’t your average gnocchi… The chefs specialize in handmade pillowy soft clouds of pasta as the ideal vehicle to carry delicious, traditional sauces. Think Beef Bolognese, Wild Mushroom and Truffle, Creamy Lobster and Barramundi, and the classic Basil Pesto. They’ve got it all and you’re going to want to order yourself a serve tonight.

They’ve got an array of affordable meal options to suit everyone’s tastes. From the Vegan Lovers Feast for $28, The People’s Choice for $34 if you want to try the most popular dishes, Gnocchi Degustation for $81 if you’re one who likes to try everything, and even a Sweet Tooth Combo for $34.
