Throughout summer, The Rocks will come alive with a pop-up bar, weekend foodie market plus a stellar selection of dining spots to explore. Set on the foreshore of Sydney’s iconic harbour, punters will be hard-pressed to find a neighbourhood as picturesque as this one.
The pinnacle of The Rock’s summer line-up will be The Dock Yard by The Doss House, a pop-up bar located in the heart of a hidden sandstone courtyard. Swing by for a drink and snack from 4pm Thursday to Sunday from now until February 9th and soak in the spirit of The Rocks’ maritime heritage. At the bar, you’ll find a curated menu of eats including gourmet toasties, grazing plates and share platters plus a selection of classic cocktails including the oh-so-summery Aperol Spritz.
The Rocks Markets will see the neighbourhood transform into a bustling marketplace from Fridays to Sundays, the perfect spot to grab a bite on-the-go this summer. Expect delicious food vendors, curated artisan wares, fashion, handcrafted jewellery, unique homewares and so much more. Plus, live acoustic acts at The Rocks Square will provide the perfect soundtrack to your shopping adventure.
Want to keep spirits high in The Rocks this summer? Make sure to swing by Endeavour Tap Rooms to enjoy their Smokin Sundays afternoons and dive into a paddle of beer tastings, a pint and platter of smoked meats ($35 per person). Flock to the rooftop at The Glenmore to soak in the summer sunset with daily food specials guaranteed to tick every box. Plus, the modern open-air terrace Mrs Jones is the perfect spot for a decadent cocktail jug made to be shared among friends.
