Sculpture at Scenic World resumes following the postponement of their 2020 event last year.

Looking for a reason to get out of town this autumn? If you’re craving a dose of the great outdoors, we’ve found just the exhibition for you. Coming soon to the Blue Mountain’s iconic Scenic World, get ready to experience an awe-inspiring outdoor sculpture exhibition showcasing inspiring artworks from emerging and established.

You might remember that this premier outdoor sculpture exhibition was sadly canceled around this time last year. Just like so many events in 2020, Sculpture at Scenic World was put on ice due to the pandemic. But now, the event is back and better than ever with an inspiring outdoor gallery opening soon.

Sculpture at Scenic World returns in 2021 from April 1st to May 2nd 2021, transforming the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains for four weeks of unmissable exhibitions. This annual event, now in its 9th year, is set to be the perfect city escape for Sydneysiders this autumn with plenty of stunning outdoor sculptures to visit and explore.

Grab your walking shoes and get ready to hit the trails of the Scenic Walkway. But to access the exhibition, guests will need to venture to the walkway via the world’s steepest train for a gentle descent on the Scenic Cableway. Once you reach the rainforest’s floor punters will be able to explore a world of impressive installations under one of Australia’s oldest rainforest canopies.

And it’s not just the rainforest floor that will host these artworks. A free outdoor exhibition called ‘Twist and Shout’ will also be coming to surrounding sites such as the Carrington Hotel, Mountain Heritage Hotel and the Fairmont Resort & Spa.

Ready to experience this contemporary art exhibition in the heart of one of NSW’s most spectacular ancient rainforests in the Blue Mountains? Tickets (from $49.90) give guests access to the Scenic Cableway and a full day at Sculpture at Scenic World exhibition and can be purchased online here.
