A festival of oysters and bubbles kicks off at the harbour

Drink, Eat, Festivals, Sydney / 24 September 2019

Need an excuse to indulge? Head straight to the harbour for a week-long Oyster Festival complete with matching bubbles.

It’s arguably Sydney’s favourite bar snack. Whether it has been a long day at the office or you’ve got a reason to celebrate, a plate of oysters and side of bubbles is the perfect remedy. But if pay day still feels too far away, never fear. Oyster Week has landed at The Streets of Barangaroo and Darling Harbour, so get ready to dive in.

From September 20th to 29th, you’ll be able to enjoy a stellar line-up of oyster-focused dishes and exclusive offers from 17 harbourside venues. From the classic plate of oysters by the dozen to tempura-style oysters, you’ll be spoilt for choice this week. Plus, each venue will be pouring a curated list of wines and bubbles to match these delicate seafood gems. Who could think of a better combination?

With so much on offer, we’ve done the hard work for you to deliver your must-see guide of where to eat and drink at Oyster Week 2019.
