Madame Shanghai Vegan Banquet Dinner

While Sichuan cuisine might typically conjure up images of mouth numbing peppers laced throughout a variety of meats, Madame Shanghai is pushing the boundaries of contemporary Sichuan food with a 10 course vegan banquet. Curated by Head Chef Casper Xu, the menu sees the intricate exploration of fermented sauces and the mouthwatering ‘strange-flavour’ combination of salty, sweet, numbing, hot and sourness. The Royal Inner West Beer Fest

The Royal Hotel Leichhardt gets set to transform into a beer lover’s paradise once more, with the return of the Inner West Beer Fest. Running from 17-18th November, taste your way through a smorgasbord of unique beers supplied from the likes of Young Henrys (Newtown), Pirate Life (SA), Akasha (Five Dock) and Willie the Boatman (St Peters). A variety of eats will be available for purchase on the day, with live music adding the final flourish to the festivities.

Zen Sessions: Yoga at Pullman

Merivale’s Dan Hong is teaming up with Jowett Yu of Hong Kong’s Ho Lee Fook and Louis Tikram of LP & EP in Los Angeles for a collaborative cooking series you won’t want to miss.
