Set in the heart of Oxford St, Noir is Sydney’s newest and most exclusive nightclub, from the team behind Seadeck, Glass Island and Oasis Brisbane.
Inspired by a pre-covid, pre-lockout city, Noir has harnessed Sydney’s former late-night glory and elevated the experience into 2022. As Sydney’s first nightclub to be built from the ground up in over a decade, hospitality entrepreneurs Dave Auld, Roger Boustani and Ronny Dubé have seized every opportunity to inject futurism, art, luxe and fun into the venue.
The result is a club unlike any other we’ve seen in Sydney. Split across three main bar areas, Noir is able to seamlessly transition from upscale, high-octane nightclub to toned-down ritzy jazz bar vibes quicker than you can bodyroll to the bar.
Enter through an auroral blue-lit staircase and the submersion of the senses begins. The sonorous sound grows louder as you encroach onto the neon concrete jungle illuminated from the floor to ceiling, while a sweet and sultry scent – Noir’s signature custom fragrance – fills the air.
Naturally, you’ll find us hanging out in the VIP room, home to an expansive dance floor drenched in almost 400 metres of RGB LED neon light. Plush furnishings give the space a super luxe feel with forest green embellishments putting the ‘jungle’ in concrete jungle. As we tiptoe into summer, Noir is set to introduce more tropical elements of greenery, but for now, the marble-cut green bar tops, lush green velvet finishes and forest green bar tiles are all the ‘lush’ we need to start getting wild on the dancefloor.
For creatures of the night that remain elusive to the dancefloor’s call, you can hide out in one of Noir’s 12 VIP bottle service booths, each one draped in velvet for the ultimate intimate escape.
Tantalise your tastebuds with a specially curated cocktail menu designed by award-winning molecular mixologist Doug Laming (The Smoking Panda, Brix Distillery and Rabbit Hole Bar). Featuring six signature Noir cocktails and four signature Noir shots along with the regular classics.
