Coffee connoisseurs will be well acquainted with Melbourne coffee pioneers, ST. ALi. This spring, the crew from NSW roaster and distiller Mr Black have teamed up with ST. ALi to craft a new limited-edition spirit: meet the Mr Black x ST. ALi Single Origin Coffee Liqueur.
This exclusive collaboration is perfect for coffee and booze lovers, uniting the best of both worlds to create the ultimate spring drink.
With over 15 years in Australia’s coffee capital, ST. ALi knows a thing or two about crafting the perfect brew. The team has been traveling across the globe for years and are experts in sourcing, roasting and processing specialty coffee. This latest collab with Mr Black is a natural fit, uniting their shared passion for crafting top-notch beverages for discerning Aussie drinkers.
During a recent pilgrimage to Peru, ST. ALi handpicked the ‘El Diamante’ coffee used in the Single Origin Coffee Liqueur. Mr Black worked with the brain’s trust from ST. ALi on roasting, and then blending the clean combination of Peruvian Cold Brew Coffee with Australian wheat vodka and a little sugar.
So, what can you expect from this limited-edition collab? Mr Black Coffee Ambassador, Martin Hudak, describes the aroma as “honeydew melon and red currant fruit on the nose which opens up to the comforting smell of nonna’s kitchen.” Hudak suggests the liqueur is best enjoyed on the rocks, as the perfect springtime sundowner.
