The outdoor cinema with a difference, Mov’in Bed is coming to Sydney’s Inner-city.
Whether you’re feeling lazy, tired or just immortally hungover, we all appreciate those nights spent curled up in bed and watching your favourite movie. Now, thanks to Mov’in Bed, your favourite method of relaxation constitutes as a night out!
After three successful years of screening, Mov’in Bed is setting up shop in Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter once more. Running from Friday 30th November until 17th February 2019, The Showring inside the Entertainment Quarter will house movie buffs and those who enjoy a night lazing in bed.
Be with your better half (or halves, they’re not picky), or even by yourself, Mov’in Bed have 150 queen beds at the ready for their spring and summer showings. Every bed includes pillows, a luminous bedside table and a blanket, perfect for a balmy Sydney evening.
Every night the gates will open at 7:00pm, with the movie screenings commencing soon after at 8:00pm. What films can we expect to see at the big screen? Mov’in Bed has something for everyone! Expect new releases like A Star Is Born, Bad Times at the El Royale and A Simple Favour, plus classics including Beetlejuice and Life Is Beautiful. For the Christmas buffs, head along for screenings of The Nut Cracker, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Love Actually.
Popcorn? Choc-tops? Both? What to eat is always the hardest decision of any cinema outing. The Dine in Bed option at Mov’in Bed Outdoor Cinemas will no doubt make that decision even harder. From the kitchen straight to bed, Fratelli Fresh, The Bavarian Bier Cafe and Burger Project will all be on hand to fulfil your cravings.
If you’d rather not share a bed while watching the diverse variety of movies, then you can pitch your own picnic rug beneath the daylight saving sunsets. For those who fancy a boogie, on selected weekends, a DJ will continue the fun after the movie.
See the need to socialise, but struggle to leave bed? Mov’in Bed may be for you!
