Mekong celebrates Mother’s Day with a special Indochine menu.
The experts in Indochine cuisine invite you to take your mum on a delicious journey down the Mekong river, that is, without ever leaving the city! Situated in the heart of Chippendale, Mekong on Kensington Street are getting ready to host a special Mother’s Day Indochine Feast, come Sunday 13th May.
For $69pp, mums will be treated to an array of mouth watering share-style dishes. For entree, expect the likes of lobster thai rice dumpling served with miso lobster comsummé plus smoked catfish, teamed with aromatic roasted chilli, mint, coriander fried shallots, lime zest and crispy rice cake.
As for mains, you’ll want to make sure you leave room in your stomach, with the likes of slow cooked beef cheek curry, stir fried crispy chicken and duck confit available on the day. As for desserts, think charcoal rice cake served with fresh coconut, dark sugar syrup and cinnamon ice cream.
