Situated inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Circular Quay is the stunning Mode Kitchen & Bar. Casual bistro fair meets fine dining in a relaxed but glamorous restaurant. The High Tea menu is available on The Mezzanine featuring 100% handcrafted sweets, savories and scones from Mode’s very own French pastry chefs. From luxurious egg and truffle sandwiches, fresh ocean trout tartare and lemon & broccolini vol au vent with Siberian Caviar, to raspberry and chocolate macaroons, Valrhona dark chocolate delice and fluffy scones with whipped cream and marmalade, mum will be in heaven. The three-tiered selection is $69 per person ($35 for children) or $89 with a glass of Penfolds x Thienot Champagne – to take Four Seasons High Tea to the next level.
Mode Kitchen & Bar will also be offering a set menu for lunch and dinner. $100 per head will get you 3 courses of decadence. Choose from dishes including zucchini flowers with wood-roasted buffalo ricotta and white truffles, Blue Fin tuna tartare, spaghettoni with fresh tomato, Moreton Bay bugs, dry-age duck breast with radicchio and pomegranate, as well as desserts including Mum’s Rose Tart, a Mode special.
