Located in the heart of Sydney’s iconic Rocks district, The Australian Heritage Hotel is everything we love about an old school pub, with its Edwardian-style architecture and relaxed atmosphere. For this years’ Melbourne cup, you’re invited to celebrate with good food, good drinks and good company.

The Australian Heritage Hotel are offering a two course lunch with a whopping three hours of unlimited drinks! Beers on offer include Carlton Draft and Victoria Bitter for the blokes, with wines and bubbles for the ladies. Throughout the afternoon, both indoor and outdoor screens will be broadcasting the races. There will also be an array of sweepstakes and live entertainment going on throughout the day. The day is set to kick off at 12pm. This will give you plenty of time enjoy a beer or glass of bubbles and get ready for the big race come 3pm.
To wet your appetites, crowd pleasing starters such as cured meats, Sydney rock oysters and tiger prawns will be on offer. For mains, you can choose between Black Angus sirlion, served with potato boulangere, mushrooms and ‘Moobrew’ jus. Alternatively, you can opt for the crispy skin salmon filet, served with creamed spinach and lentils with semi dried tomatoes.
Feeling super indulgent? For an extra $10 per head you can sample the chocolate fondant dessert! This oozy treat is accompanied by a champagne strawberry salad with vanilla bean ice-cream and walnut streusel.
Tickets: $99 per person for a two course lunch and three-hour beverage package. A premium beverage package is also available, for an extra $15 per head. Tickets are limited, so be sure to book in early to avoid disappointment.
