Drink, Events, Sydney / 27 February 2024

Whisky, nature, and a touch of fashion collide!

Whisky connoisseurs and lovers of nature, rejoice! The Macallan has unveiled its latest collaboration, The Harmony Collection, in Sydney, and it’s an experience not to be missed. This limited-edition release, co-created with the renowned fashion designers Stella and Mary McCartney, celebrates a shared appreciation for the natural world.

From March 7th to 10th, a captivating pop-up at the iconic Hickson Road Reserve will let you delve into the world of The Macallan and the McCartney sisters’ creative vision. This immersive journey showcases the unique partnership, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the Scottish landscape and the history of the label.

Step inside and be greeted by stunning photography captured by Mary McCartney herself, transporting a touch of the country’s infamous rolling hills and vibrant meadows to Sydney shores. The highlight of the experience, of course, is the opportunity to savour the new Harmony III expression.

Macallan packaging for Harmony

Inspired by the sisters’ cherished memories of the Scottish countryside, this limited edition comes in two distinct expressions: Amber Meadow and Green Meadow. Each embodies the essence of its namesake, offering a taste of Scotland in a glass.

But the experience goes beyond just taste. Guests can learn about the meticulous crafting process and engage with the interactive elements, like adding the finishing touch to their cocktails with a selection of herbs from the on-site garnish garden. For a truly immersive experience, a virtual reality experience also awaits.

This collaboration extends beyond the exquisite whisky. The packaging itself reflects the commitment to sustainability, with the presentation boxes and bottle labels crafted from repurposed meadow cuttings. This innovative approach embodies the shared values of The Macallan and the McCartney sisters, highlighting the beauty that can be found in reusing and respecting the natural world.

The pop-up will be open from Thursday 7th March to Sunday 10th March 10, 2024. Entry is free but registration is essential. This event is strictly for people aged 18 and above.
