Located in Lendlease’s bustling lifestyle precinct Sydney Place at Circular Quay, this multi-level hospitality experience promises a fusion of classic and contemporary flavours, led by the talented Head Chef, Steven Sinclair.
Working in collaboration with Creative Director Maurice Terzini and General Manager Michael Broome, Chef Steven Sinclair will oversee the culinary direction for Jacksons on George, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained from his tenure at renowned Sydney establishment Icebergs Dining Room and Simon Rogan’s Michelin-starred L’Enclume in England.
The ground level of Jacksons on George is home to the Public Bar, offering a contemporary twist on pub classics, inventive old-school cocktails, and a selection of local beers on tap. Indulge in mouthwatering dishes like the cotechino and mustard fruit sausage roll made with slow-cooked duck sausage wrapped in buttery puff pastry or the Moreton Bay bug bun with lightly battered bug meat, crisp Iceberg lettuce, and a softly spiced Vadouvan mayonnaise served on a milk and potato bun.
Climbing up to level one, Bistro George presents a delightful Euro/Oz menu that champions local producers and suppliers. Dishes like Clams Casino, salt, and Armagnac-brined Ora King salmon gravlax with blinis and cultured cream, and a selection of delectable steaks including the signature Wagyu salt-crusted ribeye with an assortment of sauces like sauce au poivre and béarnaise will satisfy every palate.
But the excitement doesn’t end there! After dinner, Bistro George transforms into a vibrant late-night bar, featuring live music and a tempting supper menu. And if you’re looking to elevate your evening, make your way to the top floor, where you’ll find a food-driven al fresco Rooftop offering a dynamic cocktail list to complement the stunning city views.
