Pop-up Igloo Bars Have Returned to Sydney Harbour

Sip Champagne, wine and dine in one of these pop-up igloo bars.

Those chilly mornings and weeks of limited sunlight might be ahead of us, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be embracing Sydney’s cooler months with a touch of good ol’ socialising. Back by popular demand are Pier One’s iconic igloo bars. After breaking the internet last year, you’ll find the same Nordic-inspired pop-up igloo bars, with two new exciting additions.

Presenting a Hot Tub Igloo and Private Igloo Suite. Teeing up with Instyle Pools and Spas, Pier One are giving couples and groups of friends the chance to sink into their very own private hot tub, sipping on cocktails and Mumm Champagne as the sun sets over the harbour. The experience comes complete with fluffy robes, slippers and a change room to dry off.

As for the brand new luxe suites, guests will enjoy access to their very own private igloo situated on the water’s edge. Inclusive is overnight accommodation plus the option to invite up to 10 friends with magnums of Champagne, cocktails and canapés available. You know where you’ll find us.

It’s time to rally the troops, with this epic experience available as of now until 31st August. Perfectly positioned along the Pier, not only can you marvel over the iconic harbour sunset, but also take in the eye-catching Vivid festivities, which will be running until 16th June.

This experience isn’t however for people not willing to spend some serious dosh. A small dome will set you back $400 for 3hr hire, whilst a big dome, squeezing in up to ten people, will cost $600 for a three hour rental period. Those looking to up the ante with the Hot Tub Igloo will be set back $150 for one hour, or $300 for three hours. As for the for full suite experience? The VIVID package starts from $984. That being said, such a price is still a far cry from the cost of heading to the Arctic and experiencing the real Igloo deal, right?

Domes on The Pier is set to stick around until 31st August, but bookings are essential. Be sure to get in contact with Pier One to score yourself an unforgettable experience. You can call Pier One on this number here 02 8298 9999.
