Name a more iconic duo than fashion and cocktails.

It’s officially Fashion Week season and no one is as prepared as the team at Hendrick’s Gin, who are once again opening the doors of their iconic Gin Parlour to the public. Taking up residence in Carriageworks during Australian Fashion Week (on 15th – 19th May), The Hendrick’s Gin Parlour will offer a chic menu of both classic and innovative cocktails, featuring their very own Gin & Tonic, Hendrick’s Clover Club, and the Hendrick’s Haute Couture amongst others.

Along with the return of the parlour, Hendrick’s will also be introducing a new collaboration with designer Michael Lo Sordo. The partnership couldn’t have come at a better time, as Michael Lo Sordo kicks off this year’s AAFW to celebrate their brand’s 10-year anniversary. Hendrick’s Gin Parlour is on a mission to prove that the glamour of fashion week extends beyond the runway and ticket holders. The parlour will be open to everyone, with mixologists shaking up crafted signature cocktails, exclusively created just for the AAFW event. 

Sip on a signature Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic, an elevated classic that is subtly floral and refreshing (perfect for the daytime) or Hendrick’s Lunar Flora Dora, a unique combination of fruity and zesty, with a hit of ginger as an after note. For a more unique experience, try Hendrick’s Clover Club (shaken, not stirred), combining sweet and sour flavours for a fruity and velvety finish, or their Hendrick’s Gin Basil Smash, a herbal tang garnished with a cucumber slice for extra freshness.

Hendricks will also be expanding their partnership with Fashion Week by taking it one step further outside of Carriageworks for the first time ever. Join Hendricks at the iconic Smoke Rooftop Bar at Barangaroo House, where they’ll be hosting an exclusive celebration of Australian fashion called “Cocktails & Couture” from May 2nd to May 22nd, featuring a bespoke Hendrick’s cocktail menu. Smoke Bar has curated a cocktail menu to mark the Hendrick’s and Michael Lo Sordo’s partnership, and will also be displaying Michael Lo Sordo pieces throughout the bar, for those looking to mix great drinks with great fashion all night long.
