Experience Sydney’s First Hop-On-Hop-Off Floating Bar and Restaurant This Summer

Bars, Drink, Eat, Restaurants, Sydney / 16 November 2020

All aboard the Harbour Bar & Restaurant, Sydney’s ultimate summer bar and dining experience.

The views of Sydney’s sparkling harbour never get old. Whether you’re looking for a post-work tipple or the perfect spot to celebrate the weekend, flocking to the harbour foreshore is always a good idea. And this summer, we’ve found the easiest way to experience Sydney Harbour from the water (minus the effort) with this new floating bar and restaurant experience.

Meet the Harbour Bar & Restaurant, Sydney’s first-ever hop-on-hop-off floating bar and dining room. Get the best views of Sydney Harbour from the water aboard this unique drinking and dining experience.

Split across three levels, Harbour Bar & Restaurant offers two must-see experiences: a sit-down restaurant dining room on the upper deck along with a lobby-style cocktail bar on the lower deck. Plus, you can head to the top deck for a top-notch drink at sunset with endless city and water views.

At the Harbour Restaurant expect epic vistas of Sydney harbour and the city skyline beyond. As for the menu, expect fresh local produce and the kind of restaurant-quality dishes you’d expect from your favourite inner-city dining rooms. Start with freshly shucked oysters and a classic prawn cocktail before enjoying lavish mains including crispy skin miso barramundi, Australian eye-fillet and so much more (with vegan and vegetarian options on offer too).

Sit back and relax during your 90-minute restaurant seating (just $49 per person, which covers the cost of entry and a main course), with dishes and drinks all ordered from the comfort of your table using the restaurant’s smart menu (enabling you to order and pay on your phone). And there’s even live entertainment provided by local acoustic musicians on-board from 1:30 pm.

In the mood for a nibble and drink? Head to the Harbour Bar to sip your way through fine Australian wines, craft beer, and distinctly Sydney cocktails designed by on-board mixologists. Plus, you can snack your way through tapa-style eats including lavish cheese platters, charcuteries boards and so much more.

The best bit? You can jump on-and-off this harbour cruise as you please. The Harbour Bar & Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from 12 pm to 10:30 pm Thursday to Sunday, stopping in 90-minute intervals at King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour, and Circular Quay (giving you the chance to hop-on or hop-off at a time that suits you).
