Great Southern Nights Returns With Stellar Aussie Line-Up For 2024

Alex The Astronaut, Jet, The Temper Trap, Thelma Plum, and more will play around Sydney for the Great Southern Nights Taster Series this November.

In a much-anticipated announcement that’s sure to set music lovers’ hearts racing, the highly acclaimed Great Southern Nights music festival is making a triumphant return in 2024. From March 8 to March 24, 2024, this iconic festival will showcase a star-studded lineup of Australian musical talent, promising an unforgettable musical experience for fans across the state.

Great Southern Nights 2024 will deliver over 300 live gigs at venues in Sydney’s inner city and Western Sydney, as well as in Wollongong, Wagga, Newcastle, the Northern Rivers, and Tamworth. The festival is set to reignite the live music scene, bringing together both established household names and emerging talents. With performances spread across 17 nights, it’s the perfect excuse for a memorable weekend getaway in Greater Sydney and New South Wales.

The initial lineup for Great Southern Nights 2024 is set to be unveiled in December. From beloved chart-toppers to promising grassroots acts, this festival will spotlight the diversity and richness of Australia’s music scene.

But that’s not all. In a special sneak peek preview of what’s in store for Great Southern Nights 2024, a series of electrifying live performances will light up stages from November 16, 2023. Enmore, Marrickville, Newtown, Parramatta, and Penrith will play host to these thrilling shows, featuring some of Australia’s most acclaimed artists.

  • Tasman Keith And 3% (with Nooky, Dallas Woods, and Angus Field): A.C.E, Parramatta on Saturday, November 25.
  • The Temper Trap: The Factory Theatre, Marrickville on Wednesday, November 22.
  • Thelma Plum: Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Parramatta on Friday, November 24.
  • Thy Art Is Murder: Marrickville Bowling Club on Saturday, November 25.
