Win one of 3 double passes to the Good Food & Wine Show 2017!
Whether your taste is sweet or savoury, beer or wine, the Good Food & Wine Show has got you covered, making their triumphant return in 2017. Running from 23rd-25th June in Darling Harbour’s International Convention Centre, this year’s exhibition promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Presented by Citi, Sydney food and drink lovers can expect hundreds of local and international exhibitors, coupled with dynamic masterclasses and talks from some of Australia’s top chefs.
To kick off your day, why make the trip to the Champagne Taittinger and Oyster Bar. At this luxury pit stop, take your time over a flute of the delectable bubbles alongside a selection of delicious oysters.
With your palate energised, next sample Australia’s very best cheese makers at Tucker’s Natural Cheese Alley. With a selection of cheddar, camembert, goat’s cheese and creamy brie on offer, these creations are sure to crumble, melt and ooze their way onto your shopping list.
Still feeling pekkish? Other exciting debuts include the Good Food Village. Inside this new speciality market, you’ll find an array of small artisan producers who pride themselves on the quality and provenance of their produce. You’re also able to try before you buy with some of the freshest seasonal foods.
Did you know that the shape and size of your glass affects the aroma, flavour, and overall profile of wine? No? Well at the Riedel Glass Tasting, you’re invited to join this educational opportunity. You’ll quickly learn how the shape of the glass can affect wines, regardless of your wine knowledge. The class will also give you a glimpse into Riedel’s 260-year history of design and invention, demonstrating the important role your wine glass plays in wine enjoyment. With the use of three red wine glasses from Riedel’s Veritas series, see for yourself why shape matters.
An exciting new pop-up dining precinct is also just around the corner – EAT, presented by the Citibank Dining Program. Here you will have access to fantastic restaurants featured in the Citibank Dining Program and hand-picked McWilliam’s wines to complement your meal. In Sydney, restaurants include Butcher and the Farmer, Black Bar & Grill and Salt Meats Cheese.
Also launching at this year’s event is a new Chef’s Lunch series. Presented by the Citibank Dining Program, guests can gain access to a once-in-a-lifetime experience, feasting on intimate three course meal hosted by the celebrity chefs themselves, matched with premium wine and live music.
