It’s time to say hola to North Sydney’s take on Tulum with Four Hundred.

Setting up a vibrant tribute to agave spirits, North Sydney welcomes a new rooftop bar and Mexican eatery, Four Hundred. Packing a healthy dose of sweet, salty and spice, the Tulum-inspired venue will treat everyone from the local suits to social seekers with a playful and elevated drinking and dining experience.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Riviera Maya-inspired venue if it didn’t have a healthy and exotic collection of premium tequilas on offer. The team behind Four Hundred, Tilley and Wills are intending to make their mark as the hottest margarita spot in North Sydney by forging an exciting partnership with Sesión Tequila. A locally founded brand by former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, as well as Jake Wall and Tim Freeburn.

To showcase this collaboration a range of classic and spicy margaritas beckon, but don’t miss out on unique concoctions like the Mayahuel, a fusion of Sesión Blanco tequila, mezcal, Aperol, passionfruit, lemon, agave, and egg white. The Cafe de Olla, a tantalizing blend of Sesión mocha, espresso, pineapple, and citrus, promises a sensorial journey.Mayahuel cocktail" - named after the revered goddess of Agave, the blend of Sesion Blanco Tequila, Mezcal, Aperol, passionfruit, lemon, agave and egg white “delivers an enticing and refreshing sour-style libation

From Monday to Saturday, Four Hundred opens its doors, offering a laid-back atmosphere and a menu that celebrates the bold flavours of Mexico, intertwined with influences from Peru, Spain, Argentina, and Cuba. Dive into a culinary journey featuring regional classics, street food delights, shareable plates, and inventive takes on pub-style fare, all spotlighting the finest local seafood.

Standout offerings include the salmon crudo tostadas, graced with avocado salsa and aji verde, and the delectable stuffed squash blossoms, featuring queso fresco, lemon verbena, and salsa roja. For those seeking a carnivorous adventure, the chicken barbacoa tacos present a classic recipe taken up a notch with the addition of chilli threads. Seafood aficionados will delight in the Baja prawn roll, a tantalizing ensemble of king prawns, baby gem, avocado, ancho mayo, and lemon, all cradled in a pillowy milk bun.

If you’re looking to make a day of your visit, shake things up with Four Hundred’s Bottomless Lunch with a two-hour package that includes margaritas, mimosas, wines and beer at $89 per person.

Four Hundred is open Monday to Saturday from 11:30am till late. Sydney-siders can book a spot via the website or simply walk in if they’re after a cheeky marg this weekend.
