Drink, Sydney / 9 May 2017

Calling all city workers! It’s time to un-wined at Festa del Vino.

It seems that us Sydney-siders love nothing more than a good post-work activity. Not only does it masterfully break up the working week, it offers the necessary platform to let our hair down, loosen those ties and get socialising. The events aren’t slowing down either in the wake of winter, with CBD hotspot Mordeo Bistro & Bar hosting a special one-night-only event – Festa del Vino.
festa del vino
On Thursday 18th May, from 6:00pm – 9:30pm, Mordeo is set to transform into a Mediterranean marketplace where wine lovers can come together to enjoy an offering of vinos from different regions in Italy, France, Spain and Greece.

At this fourth station, an elegant French Chardonnay to complement house baked brioche from the wood fire with lashings of Pepe Saya’s freshly churned butter. Then skip over to Spain, where the Rodriguez Brothers will be offering charcuterie and cheese boards, paired with a robust Merlot.
Meat lovers rejoice, Mordeo’s slow cooked beef short rib will be married with a bold French merlot cabernet at station number six, whilst lamb ribs will partner with a medium bodied MCC shiraz from Greece at station number seven.
Those with a sweet tooth are encouraged to round off their night in Rhodes, Greece. You’ll be greeted with fresh loukoumades and cannoli, paired with Campos coffee and Gabriel Coffee.
