Join 80,000 revelers for a day of live music, entertainment and delicious eats at the Sydney Mardi Gras Fair Day.

Ready for a jam-packed day of FREE entertainment? The annual Mardi Gras Fair Day is back and bigger than ever this weekend, returning to the leafy Victoria Park on Sunday, February 16th 2020. Running from 10am to 9pm, the one-day-only festival is Sydney’s most vibrant queer community event, giving everyone the chance to let their hair down and take part in a day of rainbow-fuelled fun.

Expected to attract over 80,000 attendees, Fair Day gives Sydneysiders the chance to get outdoors and explore a playground of eats and entertainment. The centrepiece of Fair Day is the showcase of up-and-coming queer performers making their mark on Australia’s music industry. Hosted on the ANZ Main Stage, the line-up is hosted by Faustina Agolley, with pioneering artists taking to the stage including, Jess B, JamarzOnMarz, Jamaica Moana and Hoodzy as well as the likes of Ngaiire, Bec Sandridge, Architects Of Sound and Huntly. Plus, get ready for awe-inspiring drag performances by Felicia Foxx as well as DJ sets from Division 4, MzRizk, Ben Drayton and Victoria Anthony.

Mardi Gras Fair Day 2020

But music isn’t the only entertainment on offer at Fair Day. Head for The Area from 10am-2pm to experience Doggywood, showcasing a Mardi Gras-themed dog shows hosted by Naomi Palmer. Expect plenty of wagging tails and fun as these pooches strut their stuff in the hopes of winning the title of Best Dressed and Most Talented. Plus, make sure to look out for the debut appearance of the Guide Dog Puppy Preschool Sessions, showcasing the newest recruits at Guide Dogs NSW/ACT.

Through Victoria Park you’ll find a dozen dedicated hubs and stalls, showcasing everything from pop-up bars to rainbow dance floors and so much more. Head to the Food Village to chow down on everything from Yum-Cha-style dumplings, vegetarian nosh from Yulli’s, Turkish gozleme and so much more. Throughout the park they’ll also be a string of bars serving everything from Yak Ales brews to Swan Bay wines and so much more. Make sure to pack your swimmers and take a dip in the Victoria Park Pool which will be welcoming guests throughout the festival.
