Sydney’s favourite cocktail, the espresso martini, is getting its own festival this month at Oxford Art Factory.
With the recent scrapping of Sydney’s lockout laws, heading out for a night on the town has never been a better idea. And hitting the dance floor for hours on end means you need to come prepared to boogie the night away. So, it’s no surprise that Sydney’s drink of choice delivers a boozy version of our favourite morning beverage: coffee. The espresso martini has quickly solidified its place as the ultimate party cocktail, perfect to keep spirits and energy levels high all night long.
This February, Sydneysiders are set to be treated to a one-night-only festival dedicated entirely to this crowd favourite cocktail. Flock to Oxford Art Factory on Friday, February 7th to experience the venue’s inaugural Espresso Martini Festival. Kicking off from 5pm, the festival is set to celebrate this delicious boozy concoction with an evening of drinks, dancing and epic DJ sets.
Punters will get to choose their favourite style of drink to indulge in for just $10 each throughout the night. Keep things simple with Classic Espresso Martini or try something a little different with a Golden Gaytime Martini or even a Double Choc Chip Martini. Or if you’re ready to boogie the night away, why not sample all three?
But drinks aren’t the only reason to head along to Oxford Art Factory’s Espresso Martini Festival. Get ready to the hit the dance floor from 5pm with No Scrubs DJs hitting the decks. Expect an epic selection of classic 90s hits from the likes of the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, Kylie Minogue and so much more.
