Enjoy a long lunch in this urban New York style restaurant in Chippendale

Chef Stanley Wong and his team have designed a special long lunch menu especially for Melbourne Cup.
Book yourself a seat inside this industrial chic restaurant located on Chippendale’s uber cool Kensington Street. Starting at 12pm you’ll enjoy welcome drinks before indulging in a share style 7 course menu. For starters you have grilled asparagus with chive vinaigrette and creamy burrata followed by kingfish sashimi and then Angus beef tartare with pickled beets and rice crisps.
For mains, char-grilled fillet of swordfish will come served with olive and cranberry confit. Meat-lovers will enjoy the Ranger’s valley Angus rum steak served with purple potatoes and black garlic. Grilled cauliflower steak with harissa, chickpeas and toasted hazelnuts will finish your savoury dishes.
Then it’s time for Eastside’s infamous “fire & ice” dessert presentation. If you haven’t tried this before it’s a reason itself to book in at Eastside Kitchen & Bar. On top of that they’ll have big screens set up, lucky door prizes and more.
Kicking off at 12pm tickets are $75pp.
