We love disappearing for the night into Sydney’s best hidden bars, and this new secret lounge bar from Solotel Group is set to be an irresistible hiding place. Tucked inside the upstairs level of Edinburgh Castle Hotel on the corner of Pitt and Bathurst Streets you’ll find the hidden Dusk Club waiting to welcome you with the vibrant glamour of the roaring twenties.
Enter through the public bar, head up the stairs and through the double doors to this hidden gem where Champagne flows like jazz and the music tastes like a gin and tonic. The drinks list changes tempo with the seasons, and spring is serving us familiar 1920’s gin hits with a very 2022 remix. Think lemon myrtle infusions, a blood orange sorbet, and Ramos milkshakes as well as whatever your iteration of a classic martini is.
Dusk Club is the perfect backdrop for date nights, late nights and low-key after-work hangouts where big talks run into the small hours. To fuel the grand discussions, Dusk Club is serving up a people-pleasing menu of bar snack favourites including spicy chickpea dip with flat bread; artichoke, anchovy, guindilla pepper with crackers; Australian cheese plate; and a salumi plate.
As you devour the satiating bar snack menu and the conversation ebbs, let the silence be filled with an eclectic playlist of live jazz. The live jazz programme kicks off every Thursday and Friday, 7pm – 10pm, followed by DJs till late.
