Doux Amour Patisserie – Sweets Too Cute To Eat

Being an adult can be hard sometimes. Taxes, long meetings, making your own appointments! But there’s a new cafe in Rosebery that takes you back to your childhood. Doux Amour Patisserie (sweet love in French) opened a couple of years ago, bringing some new sweet treats to the growing foodie district. After years of selling macaroons and cronuts, they got in touch with, let’s say, their animal instincts. Their new “family” of cookie animal puffs are selling out daily. And for a good reason too. They’re so freaking cute!
We have Blackie The Penguin, made with black sesame seeds, ground to a baste and baked into a cookie.
We have Rosie Pig the rose and lychee flavoured treat.

Then there’s Macho Turtle, made with the flavour of the moment, matcha. They are having trouble deciding if he’s a frog or a turtle but we definitely think he’s a turtle!
And last but definitely not least, we have Nutty Freckle Bear, that tastes like Nutella! Considering Sydney’s Nutella obsession, we won’t be surprised if Nutty (and all his friends) will be selling out day after day.

We’re sure with their newest creation, Doux Amour Patisserie is set to bring in big crowds. Grab a coffee, some salted caramel macaroons and some animal cookie puffs and you’ll be in heaven. And it’s certainly taking over social media. Check out their Instagram for regular updates!
