Sydney Scores Its First Drive-Thru Bagel Bakery From The Team At Brooklyn Boy Bagels

Want an NYC-inspired bagel without leaving your car? Yes, you can thanks to the team from Brooklyn Boy Bagels.

For most of us, the idea of drive-thru dining revolves around fries, burgers and supersized soft drinks. It’s far from healthy and all about cost and efficiency. Don’t get us wrong, there’s a time and place for a bucket of chicken nuggets and soft serve (or three). But now, we’re found a much more wholesome drive-thru experience you won’t want to miss.

Sydney, meet Brooklyn Boy Bagel’s drive-thru experience. Turning the parking lot outside their Marrickville bakery into a grab-and-go destination, expect to sling yourself a delicious serve of bagel-goodness from these local experts. Punters will find Sydney’s first drive-thru bagel bakery at 19 Carrington Road, Marrickville, opening from 7am to 12pm Tuesday to Sunday. Our tip? Get in early to avoid missing out as these bagels are known to sell out fast.

Plus, Brooklyn Boy Bagels are also offering home delivery for those who can’t make it to their Marrickville HQ. With a two-day baking process, the team is now offering delivery to those living in the City of Sydney area, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, South Sydney, North Shore and Lower Northern Beaches. There is a minimum of $50 for delivery (and $35 for pre-ordered pick-up). The full breakdown of delivery times and online order cut-offs can be found here.

But these bagels are worth forking out for, with a bunch of box sets and DIY bagel sets for you to choose from. Grab the classic ‘Bagel Survival Kit’ packed with eight of their most popular flavours (and a tub of whipped cream cheese, jam and Nutella, naturally – $42.95). Or why not go all out with their signature ‘Self Isolation Nosh Fest’ ($104.95) or go plant-based with their ‘Vegan Survival Kit’ ($49.95). And you can even Build Your Own Survival Kit, with your choice of bagels, salmon, pastrami, jams, and more available.

The best bit? These bagels are perfect to add to your freezer and can last for months while frozen, to ensure you’re never without your bagel fix in iso. To find out more about Brooklyn Boy Bagel’s takeaway bagel offering, click here.
