BBR Festival is excited to announce its fourth annual four-day festival of everything French, in celebration of Bastille Day. Kicking off on Thursday 14th July and running until Sunday 17th July, this event is set to showcase a series of artistic events and food stalls.
The location of this years BBR Festival? It’s none other than Sydney’s picturesque Circular Quay and Customs House Square.
There will be an array of artistic events from French mimes to cabaret girls, lots of live music and delicious stalls that celebrate French food the world over. This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever before, with an additional day of celebrations plus more attractions and entertainment.
The first event will commence on Thursday 14th July morning at 7am, with a French croissant and a ‘cafe creme’ to celebrate actual Bastille Day. Live music will begin from 11am, with a Bastille party kicking off at 6pm with French music, dancers and more.

This years BBR Festival will also host a series of cooking classes, aptly titled ‘Tour De France’. Held by French chefs, you will learn how to cook traditional dishes from the regions visited by Le Tour de France 2016.
The French Village Market are sure to satisfy your French food needs. Glorious French food stalls will be offering the best of French cuisine. Bite into freshly baked baguettes, taste stinky cheese and try traditional French cakes and treats. This food centric market would not be complete without a feature of some beautiful French Champagnes and wine.
The festivities end on Sunday 17 July with bang! Come along and witness a spectacular parade featuring all the performers takes place throughout the festival locations.
