3 days. 250,000 balls. Step into the ultimate adults-only ball pit party.
We all remember the joys of kid’s birthday parties. You know, the ones spent sliding, rolling and jumping into giant pool-like pits filled with colourful balls. Fuelled by sugar and youthful optimism, we’d crash our way through endless hours of fun with nothing but fizzy drink and lollies in hand. And when the festivities wrapped up, our parents would have to pull us away from the equipment while we cried for “just one more go!”
Fast forward to today, and most of us wouldn’t dream of stepping foot into a ball pit. But, we’ve found just the event to get you reliving your fun-filled childhood days. After the success of the October long weekend event in 2019, Ball Pit Party is coming back this Australia Day long weekend. The epic adults-only wonderland is filled with cocktails, tunes and over 250,000 balls. From Friday January 24th to Sunday January 26th 2020 a festival of ball-filled fun will descend on Side Bar, one of Sydney’s busiest late-night venues. Located in the heart of the city, the space occupies the basement level of an eight-story heritage building, renowned as a beloved haunt for students, backpackers and party-loving locals alike. And Side Bar is no stranger to hosting a great party. In fact, they’ve put on a slew of great nights on the years including foam parties, 90s-themed nights and neon glow discos just to name a few.
So, what can you expect at Ball Pit Party? Set to be one of this year’s most Instagrammable events, the party will transform Side Bar into an adults-only play destination with confetti cannons, Sydney’s favourite party DJs and neon cocktail buckets to spirits high late into the night. Whether you’ve got a mate’s birthday to celebrate or are just looking for reason to let loose this October long weekend, Ball Pit Party is set to deliver the best kidult time of your life.
Ball Pit Party is coming to Side Bar from Friday January 24th to Sunday January 26th 2020, open from 8pm to 3am. To secure your spot, book here.
