Archie Rose has landed at Sydney Airport with a custom pop-up summer bar

Heading abroad this summer? The crew from Archie Rose are giving you plenty of reason to check-in extra early this festive season.

The airport. It’s an inconvenient pit stop on our way towards adventure and escape. From queuing at security to listening to loudspeaker announcements at boarding gates, it’s hardly a spot many travelers would want to linger. But thanks to this innovative Sydney distillery, Sydney Airport has a brand-new place to score a well-made drink with a side of top-notch hospitality.

With the holiday travel season almost upon us, Archie Rose Distilling Co. has set up camp inside Sydney Aiport’s T1 International terminal to celebrate all things Sydney. The crew is bringing the best bits of their Rosebery distillery to travelers with a pop-up, custom-designed sixteen-seat Archie Rose Cocktail Bar. From now until February 2020 the bar will be serving up Archie Rose’s award-wining gins, vodka and whiskeys (as well as their newly released Archie Rose x Sydney Opera House Outside and Inside Gins).

The pop-up cocktail bar will be serving everything from Martinis to Manhattans and other signature Archie Rose cocktails, a welcome departure from your typical airport watering holes. For the team, this latest venture hopes to give travelers a taste of the craft spirits this distillery is famous for. “Celebrating Sydney and Australia lies at the heart of everything we do,” says Archie Rose founder, Will Edwards. “We can’t wait to treat passengers who pass through Sydney Airport’s International Terminal this summer to world-class cocktails made from gin, vodka and whisky produced just down the road at our distillery in Rosebery, Sydney.”

For guests, the bar provides the perfect spot to kick back and unwind before jetting off abroad. With an inviting bar setting and diverse drinks selection, its a destination made for enjoying a delicious cocktail before boarding.

The Archie Rose Cocktail Bar is open now and serving until February 2020 at B1045 T1 International, after security, just near Kitchen By Mike, Joe The Juice and Heineken House. For more information about this epic pop-up, click here.
