From pop-up markets to free cinema sessions and DIY cheese making classes, Sydney certainly isn’t shutting down during July and neither should you. Rug up, rally your mates and get your dose of winter goodness with these 12 things for your July calendar.

1. Head to Paddy’s Markets New Pop-up Series

Whilst you might be typically accustomed to purchasing knock off bags, whacky costumes and a-grade souvenirs from Paddy’s, they’re shaking things up with a dynamic market pop-up series. Targeting food lovers far and wide, these markets will be running every week, with the inaugural event kicking off between Wednesday 4th and Sunday 8th July from 10am-6pm. The theme this week is ‘Fabulous Foodies’, and so naturally you can expect some big names in the foodie-sphere. Think Zumbo, Rabbit Hole Tea, Love Dem Apples, N2 Extreme Gelato, Diego’s Donuts plus more.

2. Bottomless Meze and Wine Nights at Efendy

Balmain institution Efendy has been feeding locals and lovers of authentic Turkish cuisine since they first opened their doors 11 years ago. As we enter the heart of the cold months, they’re now inviting you in for a feast to remember. Running every Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm, head in for bottomless meze and wine nights. For a mere $60pp, expect a selection of hot, cold and dessert meze PLUS an epic two hour drinks package, which includes a selection of red, white and rosé imported directly from Turkey.

6. Head to Watsons Bay Hotel For Life Drawing and Liquor Sessions

Whilst the hoards head to Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel for Sunday sessions during the warmer months, they’re now inviting to you head along to a different kind of session. Running on Tuesday 31st July, head into this beachside oasis for life drawing and liquor sessions.
