Delicious food meets critically acclaimed films at the inaugural return of Gourmet Cinema in 2018.
After a massive sold out season last year, foodies and cinema buffs alike are strongly encouraged to pencil this special event in the diary! Popular Gourmet Cinema presented by Holden Equinox is returning to Caulfield Racecourse from Thursday 1st March to Sunday 11th March 2018, combining their two favourite pastimes: great food and cult classics.
Now in its forth year, Gourmet Cinema presented by Holden Equinox is partnering with some of the city’s best restaurants and eateries to create and match unique menu items with popular and cult films. Each session will feature food and drinks from four restaurants, with one hero restaurant headlining with menu specials inspired by the film of the night.
While the restaurants aren’t set to be released until January, the movie line up has dropped and it’s a tantalising mix of ’80s nostalgia and cult hits, including.

To give you an idea of what you’re in for in 2018, last year’s event had Sophia Coppola’s Lost in Translation teamed with poke and pork belly bao from Tokyo Tina, while Slumdog Millionaire was paired with one of Horn Please’s popular samosas.
Pack your picnic blanket and settle on a premium patch of grass along the home straight, or grab a reserved deck chair and kick back for the perfect night under the stars at Caulfield Racecourse.
