There’s a confectionery constellation descending on Melbourne this weekend, and you definitely ‘do-nut’ want to miss it.

The much-anticipated Donut Festival is making its sweet return to the iconic Queen Victoria Market on Saturday, 3 June and Sunday, 4 June. From 9:00am to 4:00pm on both days, C & D Sheds (at the Peel Street end of the market) will be transformed into a sugary wonderland that promises to satisfy your cravings for these doughy delights. Entry is free, so you just need to show up ready to explore an array of donuts and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

This year’s lineup promises an eclectic mix of traditional and innovative donut creations. From classic jam-filled treats dusted with cinnamon sugar to quirky spaghetti-filled marvels, there’s a donut for every taste bud.

One not-to-miss trader is Pasta Face, tempting patrons with Nutella gnocchi and savoury donuts filled with spaghetti and mac and cheese. Daniel’s Donuts will be there too, dishing out glaze-topped donuts in flavours like Golden Gaytime, white choc and raspberry, plus a host of vegan options.

Don’t forget to check out American Doughnut Kitchen for a market classic – warm, sugary hot jam doughnuts, or head to Churro Kitchen for a crunchy churro bowl dripping in Nutella topping. Other stalls to visit include Jamm’d Dessert Bar, OMG Decadent Donuts, Shortstop Coffee & Donuts, St. Gerry’s, Big Bear Donuts, Gotham Donuts, and Gfree Donuts.

And just when you thought this weekend couldn’t get any sweeter, there’s more. As you make your way through the donut circuit, you’ll also get to enjoy live music and other entertainment to keep the vibes upbeat and the mood festive.
