Long weekends are made for relaxing, sunshine and a ‘build your own’ spritz in hand!
The Labour Day long weekend is so close, we can taste it! There to get you in the long-weekend holiday mode is a first for Melbourne – a ‘build your own spritz’ bar. Kicking off on Labour Day Eve (11th March) from 12pm, Melbourne Public have teamed up with the talented guys at Dal Zotto Wines to bring the spritz-obsessed (aren’t we all?) this marvellous DIY creation.
If you’ve ever dreamed of being mixologist for a day, now is your chance. Guests will get the opportunity to combine their favourite liquors, wines and garnishes to build the spritz of their wildest dreams. Hosted in the lovingly restored heritage cargo sheds on the Yarra’s edge, it’s not hard to imagine how delightful a Sunday session would be with a spritz in hand.
Strumming out some chilled Sunday vibes will also be the talented Cassie Crawford, followed by some serious beats from DJ Scott Thompson – and the energetic Sam Ludeman Band headlining till close to transition people onto the dancefloor.
Tickets can be pre-purchased for only $10, which will entitle the holder to two free drinks (usually worth $12 each – so a saving of $14) and guaranteed entry. Alternatively, entry on the day is free, but guests are recommended to arrive early as they are set to reach full capacity.
