Whisky lovers are in for a treat as Archer’s Restaurant in the Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands prepares to host its highly anticipated whisky dinner series.
Building on the success of its sold-out event in May, Archer’s is back, all set to cater to Melbourne’s loyal whisky community.
A Toast to Victorian Distilleries
The Archer’s whisky dinner series is a journey through the world of whisky, showcasing the offerings of some of Victoria’s finest distilleries. The event series brings together four independent distilleries – Corowa Distilling Co., Morris Whisky, Timboon Distillery, and Chief’s Son Distillery – under the award-winning design of Archer’s restaurant.
Each exclusive dinner features a unique, one-time menu crafted by Executive Chef Ryan Flaherty. With his experience at renowned establishments like The Fat Duck and Stokehouse, Flaherty designs a menu that pairs perfectly with the whisky offerings, playing on the senses and introducing guests to an array of whisky notes.
An Evening at Archer’s: More Than Just A Meal
Archer’s, along with Ada’s, the Marriott Dockland’s lobby bar, hosts a remarkable collection of whisky from over 30 local distilleries. Their nightly whisky cart ritual, offering premium pours from a range of distilleries, has one of the largest local whisky collections in the state. This ritual has earned them a special place in the hearts of local whisky enthusiasts.
