Melbourne’s renowned Nordic-inspired restaurant, Freyja, is setting the stage for a unique gastronomic event that promises to captivate food enthusiasts. From 8th to 10th February, Freyja will collaborate with the esteemed French restaurant, Les Prés d’Eugénie, featuring a special ‘4 Hands Dinner.

Michelin Stars Align at Freyja

This collaboration marks a significant moment in Melbourne’s dining scene. Freyja’s Executive Chef, Jae Bang, renowned for his New Nordic Cuisine expertise, teams up with Hugo Souchet, the esteemed chef from the three Michelin-starred Les Prés d’Eugénie. They will present a six-course ‘4 Hands Dinner’, showcasing their combined Michelin Star experience.

The Chefs Behind the Magic

Jae Bang, Freyja’s Executive Chef, brings a wealth of global haute cuisine experience. His journey includes stints at Michelin-starred restaurants such as Arzak and New York’s Daniel. Hugo Souchet, from Versailles, adds his French finesse to the mix. He honed his skills under culinary legends like Yannick Alléno and Alain Ducasse, and has been integral to maintaining the Michelin status at Les Prés d’Eugénie.

The Culinary Experience

The centrepiece of the dinner will be Sturia Caviar, supplied by Eustralis Food. The evening kicks off with a glass of Pernet et Pernet Champagne, setting a luxurious tone. The menu will blend Les Prés d’Eugénie’s renowned recipes with Freyja’s Nordic influence, featuring high-quality Australian produce. With the combined expertise of Chefs Jae Bang and Hugo Souchet, this ‘4 Hands Dinner’ at Freyja is set to be a memorable experience for all who attend.
