Airbnb is hosting a once-in-a-lifetime sleepover at the Louvre

Art revellers and travellers alike have been flocking to the Louvre since it first opened way back in August 1793. There lies iconic art pieces like the Mona Lisa, and now you can catch some zzz’s the mysterious lady herself, alongside the entire vat of precious art thanks to one epically proportioned competition. Teaming up with Airbnb, the Louvre are giving one winner and a guest the chance to spend the night at the world-famous museum.

The lucky pair will get to sleep under the museum’s glass pyramid inside a “mini pyramid”, designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the architectural icon.

The prize doesn’t stop with this jaw-dropping pop up accomodation either. Your evening starts with a VIP guide taking you and your guest on an after hours tour of the museum. Presidents and celebrities have had this exclusive opportunity. Now it’s your turn.

Next you will enjoy Renaissance-inspired apéritifs with Mona Lisa. With a pop-up living room created especially for you and your guest, relax and unwind together in her sumptuous living room, nestled in the heart of the Louvre.

Then it’s onto dinner with none other than the Venus of Milo. Here a personal chef will prepare a colourful menu inspired by love and beauty, in honour of this divine goddess.

As the evening unfolds, you will then relax and unwind in Napoleon III’s opulent apartments, as your very own intimate acoustic concert unfolds before your very eyes.

After an activity fuelled evening, it’s then time to cosy up under the iconic Pyramid and drift off to sleep beneath the shimmering glass and starry sky. You will wake up with a Parisian breakfast in bed.
