Come to Arms Length for a martini by the fire, stay for whatever the kitchen is cooking.
Follow the fairy lights down Kellett Street in Potts Point and you have found it. Arms Length sits in a terrace house with a courtyard out the back, an open fireplace inside and cosy booths made for leaning in close. It works at almost any hour, whether that is a proper dinner, a couple of drinks and nothing more, or a late bite when you should probably be heading home.
The wine list leans on boutique Australian producers, and the martini menu lets you order each drink as a mini, which makes tasting your way along very easy. The kitchen serves comfort food with a touch of polish, from rich pasta to jaffles that refuse to take themselves too seriously. Easy to settle into, hard to leave.
