El Primo Sanchez Surry Hills is The Maybe Group's Mexican cocktail bar, built around tacos, tequila, karaoke and a weekly program that gives you a reason to come back every night. World Class Winner Eduardo Conde leads the cocktail list, head chef Diego Sotelo runs the kitchen.
The weekly program is the reason El Primo works. Taco Wednesday runs $6 tacos all night across the full menu. Torta Thursday brings $15 tortas with a drink purchase and $15 margaritas all night. Happy Hour runs daily from 5:30pm to 7pm with $7 beers, $12 wines and $15 highballs and slushies. DJs play Friday and Saturday from 9pm and Sunday from 5:30pm, and The Sunday Shift brings $15 cocktail specials and two-for-$15 tacos for hospo heroes and Sunday lovers alike. The karaoke room is bookable daily and the emergency tequila button is still in play. The cocktail list heroes tequila, mezcal and the agave spirit family, and the kitchen keeps it to TNT: tacos, nachos and tortas, with rotating shared plates alongside.
