24 York

Sydney’s newest restaurant 24 York is betting on one thing and one thing only: steak frites.

24 York is the latest concept from the Rockpool crew- serving just one main dish, and doing it exceptionally well. For $48, you get a perfectly grilled MB2+ scotch fillet (the same cut used at Rockpool Bar & Grill), stacked with golden fries and your pick of sauce. That’s it. No entrées, no tasting menus.  Inspired by Parisian cult favourite Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, 24 York swaps CBD pub fare for crisp tablecloths, leather banquettes and classic bistro polish. It’s premium without being precious, walk-in friendly, and designed for people who want to eat well without overthinking it.  Quick Bites
