ZoneOut International Music Festival arrives to Carriageworks

Sydney / 31 July 2019

You can expect morning yoga sessions, neo-classic music performances, film screenings and more at the new ZoneOut Festival

Eveleigh’s Carriageworks are no strangers to creativity and the arts, and now they’re getting ready in the wake of a new innovative music festival to arrive to Sydney. ZoneOut International Music Festival is an inaugural one day event fusing neo-classical music with morning yoga sessions, thought provoking talks, film screenings and more.

Running on Saturday 28th September from 8am to 11:30pm, the event sees leading international and locally grown artists brought together for the ultimate showcase of creativity, focusing on neo-classical music. Blending elements of classical, ambient, electronic and alternative music, you can expect nothing short of an evocative music soundscape.

The line up features several artists highly regarded in their field, including festival ambassador Luke Howard, pianist Sophie Hutchings and the enigmatic masked performer, Lambert.

Australian electronic music producers Anatole and Double Touch will also make an appearance, alongside Kenyan singer and songwriter J.S. Ondara, Irish folk singer Sibeal and Australian pianist Kristian Chong.

Unlike your typical doof-themed music festival, the whole family is welcome to ZoneOut. There will be three ‘cozy concerts’ offering chilled-out family friendly music experiences with floor seating for parents and bubs. A series of morning yoga sessions presented by Power Living are also designed to set the suitably zen tone for the day.

You can also catch a series of films that will play between concerts, with presentations and panel discussions on the National Geographic Documentary Save This Rhino also featuring.

A big day of festivities requires ample fuelling and thankfully the Carriageworks Farmers Markets will be there to supply plenty of food and drinks options from 8am.

How you do ZoneOut is totally up to you. Buy a ticket to an individual performance, an afternoon or evening ticket package, or alternatively you can secure a full day festival pass.
