Paddington’s adored Latin American restaurant is celebrating 7 years with a new menu launch, food & drink specials, a ‘Pisco Disco’ with live DJs, a street BBQ with a Mariachi band, and so much more!
Tequila Mockingbird’s week-long fiesta will run from Tuesday 18th all the way to Sunday 23rd of July, kicking off with a brand new menu launch, followed by taco & tequila specials, extended happy hours and so much more!
The festivities start with a specially curated menu, reviving all of Tequila Mockingbird’s best-selling dishes from the past seven years with a modern twist. Crunchy Nori Tempura Prawn Tacos, Cauliflower Tacos, Queso Fundido, and Chicken a la Parrilla are all making a comeback. We highlight recommended teeing up your visit with their Happy Hour every Tuesday – Friday between 4:30pm- 6pm to enjoy $12 Classic Margaritas and their signature Tequila Mockingbird cocktail which is somewhere between a spicy margarita and a Tommy’s featuring Patrón Silver, elderflower liqueur, jalapeño, agave and lemon.
Thursday will be the new Friday as they welcome Taco & Tequila Thursday for one day only! Indulge in the restaurant’s most iconic food and drink combo with delicious options for just $7! You can get your hands on their famous Ceviche Taco, Patrón Silver, and mini margaritas all night long for $7 each. On Friday, get ready to unleash your inner dancing queen as they welcome the weekend with a ‘Pisco Disco’. From 6pm you’ll be able to sip on $15 Pisco Sours and from 8pm, they’ll be disco DJs in the restaurant soundtracking your evening until late. Oh, and did we mention disco balls in every room? Sparkles and flares for your best disco fit are encouraged!
The festivities roll over to the weekend with a Viva el Vino bottomless brunch happening on Saturday. Indulge in a fiesta of flavours for just $99pp with two hours of free-flowing rose and sparkling wine accompanied by a set menu. The dishes are designed to be shared and are lighter style, perfect for lunch dining. Think Guacamole with salsa and chips, Ceviche Tacos, Corn Tacos, Beef Anticucho, and more!
Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes! Sunday will be the official birthday bash with the team firing up the outdoor BBQ for some mouthwatering street-style Porchetta & Vege Tacos from midday until sold out. To add a touch of Mexican flair, they’ll also have a live Mariachi band roaming outside and the restaurant, serenading you with iconic Mexican tunes. The party continues with a Happy Hour extension, allowing you to sip on $12 Classic Margaritas and Tequila Mockingbirds from 12pm – 5pm.
