Electronic music festival Subsonic adds three weighty global superstars + 150 local DJs for its return to New South Wales.

After a four-year hiatus, Subsonic Music Festival is finally returning to Barrington Tops, New South Wales. The three-day bash will be packed with music, art, dancing, and connection.

The festival was tragically cancelled in 2019 due to bushfires. Now, festival organisers eagerly welcome back their dedicated community of creative spirits to the picturesque surroundings of Riverwood Downs on the banks of the Karuah River.

The newly announced acts are leading the charge. UK DJ and producer Alec Falconer, old-school house selector MEZ, and underground French DJ sensation rRoxymore join headliners including Crooked Colours, BARKAA, Youngr, Haiku Hands, and JessB.

The festival also boasts a massive selection of over 150 local DJs. Scene icons Phil Smart and Simon Caldwell, along with a host of Australia’s finest like Gabby, Rabbit Taxi, Tristan Case, Elijah Something, Jake Hough, U-Khan, and many more.

Subsonic’s return offers the region a chance to highlight its natural beauty. The venue will transform into a canvas of creativity. The grounds will feature immersive artistry and provide opportunities for punters to engage in lifestyle and well-being experiences.

Accommodation options are as diversified as the lineup. Everything from luxurious camping to bunkhouse experiences is on offer, catering to every comfort and budget.

Subsonic 2023 is taking place at Riverwood Downs from December 8th to the 10th 2023. 2nd release tickets are on sale now for $360 + fees here.
