Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal has a new flagship destination.
The Oriana spans four levels at Circular Quay, transforming the former Quay restaurant and Squires Landing into one connected harbourfront experience designed to move with you from day to night, casual to elevated.
Named after the iconic SS Oriana ocean liner that arrived at Circular Quay in the 1960s, the venue flows across distinct spaces. The ground floor Beer Garden offers open-air harbour views and big-screen sporting action. Level 1 brings pub energy with Martinis after 9 for late-night harbour views.
Level 2 houses The Oriana Restaurant, where the menu leans heavily into seasonal NSW seafood—think chilled platters with Bluefin tuna crudo, king crab and Southern rock lobster, or Hokkaido scallops with finger lime. Level 3 is dedicated events space.
Opening in time for Vivid Sydney, expect live music throughout the festival and front-row views over the illuminated harbour. The venue seats 1500 across all levels.
When to Go: Pub: Mon-Fri 12pm-late, Sat-Sun 11am-late; Restaurant: 5pm-10pm during Vivid (post-Vivid hours TBC)
Where: Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay
