Casoni's Guest Chef Sunday Lunches

Starting the last week in May, Casoni‘s Head Chef will be teaming up with Chefs from renowned restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne to create the Guest Chef Sunday Lunch Series.
Head Chef Lachlan Robinson (formerly of Icebergs Bar + Dining and Pendolino), will work with each Guest Chef to create a one off menu for a long lunch full of flavour.
Joseph Vargetto (from Mister Bianco) exclaimed, “I love all things Italian and to showcase beautiful food and wine at Casoni with Lachlan is something very special. I don’t get to cook for Sydney-siders very often so I am excited!”
Here’s the line up:
Pendolino Guest Chef Sunday, 31st May
Pendolino’s Head Chef, Richard Learmonth will join Lachlan to showcase the flavours of regional Italy, focusing on classic dishes from around ‘the boot’.
Lunch 12pm – 2.30pm
Tickets are $70 a head for five courses or $110 including matching wines
Mister Bianco Guest Chef Sunday, June 14
Joseph Vargetto will bring his inspiration from the South of Italy, Lachlan his passion for Northern Italian fare and together they will take guests on a tour across Italy. They will be showcasing an amazing blend of traditional Italian flavours and the modern Mediterranean sensibility reflected in their menus.

Lunch 12pm – 2.30pm and dinner 6pm – 9.30pm
$70 a head for five courses, $110 including matching wines
Morgan McGlone Guest Chef Sunday, 28 June
The last lunch for the series will feature Kiwi Chef, Morgan McGlone, who will explore the Italian flavours in pasta, for a ‘pasta’ degustation. He will be bringing his expertise from his work at Husk in Nashville and latest Melbourne venues, southern style chook shack, Belles Hot Chicken and newly opened, Bar Clarine.
