Bondi is kicking up the temperature with the arrival of Belles Hot Chicken.
Fried chicken is always a cluckin’ good time, but when it’s on the shores of Australia’s most iconic beach, the spice and sea become the perfect pairing. Cult casual dining joint, Belles Hot Chicken has set up shop with a brand-new beachside diner and bar smack on Hall Street.
The new location features al fresco streetside dining, an old-school takeaway window and the true-blue retro American decor you grew up watching on screen. Think old-school vinyl booths and a disco ball shimmering above you as you slurp down the Bondi exclusive milkshake. First up on the bill is their take on a Pina Colada – suitably boozy or sans booze for those hitting the waves.
The menu will include all your Belles favourites, perfected over the brand’s 9-year history. Our personal favourite is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich & Fries, but if you have to share with a mate the Nashy Loaded Fries are the ideal combination of dairy and spice thanks to the addition of cheese sauce, ranch, jalapenos and spiced tenders.
To wash it all down, you’ll be able to enjoy your favourite Belles beverages, but also some exciting new additions to their bar menu. These include a Belles spin on 80s and 90s-inspired cocktails like the Belles Long Island Iced Tea. There’ll also be 6 new shots to get the party started in Belles’ iconic ‘return if found’ shot glasses.
Belles Hot Chicken Managing Director, Joss-Jenner Leuthart says the opening of the Bondi location was only natural for the brand.

To officially commemorate their arrival into the Bondi Bubble, Belles is giving Bondi residents 20.26% off all items for the first 20 days of trade. To take up the offer, all Bondi locals need to show is proof of their residential address with a 2026 postcode on a valid form of ID.
Belles Bondi Beach is now open Wednesday and Thursday 11:30am – 9:00pm, Friday and Saturday 11:30am – 10:30pm and Sunday 11:30am – 9:00pm.
