Banco Manly

Banco Manly, follow the neon wine bottle

Banco Manly is an intimate restaurant and wine bar tucked down Whistler Street, serving British inspired plates, natural wine and playful cocktails. Follow the neon wine bottle off the main drag and you’ll find a moody, candlelit room made for date nights and long catch ups.

Banco comes from Kurtis Bosley of CBK Hospitality, the bartender behind Corretto in Dee Why, and you can feel that bar background in every corner. The room is small and warm, with brass lighting, banquette seating and a bar made for perching, where the team will happily steer you towards a natural wine to suit your taste or shake up something playful from the cocktail list. The kitchen leans British, rich and rustic, with a menu that moves with the seasons and the produce on hand. Add a daily sips and snacks happy hour before 6pm, a Sunday roast for slow weekends and a hip hop soundtrack that keeps things relaxed, and you have a spot that works for a date, a post work drink or a catch up where nobody wants to leave.
