Sharpen your culinary skills with Cannoleria at Home, Melbourne’s first virtual cannoli making class.

Want to learn something new in lockdown 2.0? We’ve found just the online event for you, giving Melburnians the chance to get cooking and master a new skill while staying at home. The best bit? You’ll come out with a stack of delicious homemade cannoli to impress your household.

The crew from Cannoleria knows a thing or two about crafting delicious homemade cannoli. The Melbourne-based team specialise in the traditional Sicilian dessert of Cannoli, crafting delicate tubes of golden crunchy pastry filled fresh daily with That’s Amore ricotta.

For one-day-only on September 12th, the team from Cannoleria will be hosting Melbourne’s first virtual cannoli making class. Dubbed ‘Cannoleria at Home’, this live interactive cooking class has been created off the back of the success of live-streamed events, enabling everyone in lockdown to take part in real-time events from the comfort and safety of their own home.

Hosted via Zoom at 10 am, chef and co-owner of Cannoleria Dario Di Clerico will teach attendees how to create this traditional Silician dessert with easy-to-follow instructions.

During the interactive masterclass, attendees will learn how to make and transform dough into the delicate tubes of golden, crunchy pastry that will become delicious cannoli. Each will be filled with Cannoleria’s signature sweet ricotta as well for the true Sicilian taste. The best bit? You won’t have to get out of your PJs to take part in this fun event!
