CBD acoustic experience, the SILY Sessions returns.
Hidden in a heritage-listed courtyard in Kent Street is where you’ll find “Since I Left You”. Back by popular demand, this wine bar is bringing back their live acoustic experience known as the SILY sessions. On Sunday 26th February, the SILY sessions will host a series of intimate, boutique music events, showcasing a diverse mix of musical talent on the ‘Garden Stage’.
The industrial style courtyard, with exposed brick walls and romantic fairy lights has an air of 1920’s speakeasy. The inside bar takes a more modern approach as does their menu. The service is friendly, upbeat and attentive without being overbearing.
Sydney’s noise and capacity restrictions mean the space can accomodate a maximum of 50 people at a time. So, the performers have to step outside of their comfort zone and shape a different live experience to suit the space. This experimental acoustic session will see the industrial courtyard dressed as a tropical oasis as performers play original material and inventive covers of old classics.
SILY sessions are an exclusive affair with only 50 tickets sold for each session. For those who miss out on a ticket, The SILY Sessions will be professionally recorded and photographed. All of the content will be available online for your enjoyment.
Entering the stage at the next SILY session is YoungstaCPT, Jannah Beth and Vincent Segami. Regarded as one of the most important South African influencers of his generation, YoungstaCPT has already made a big name for himself, with over 27 mix-tapes and numerous EPs and awards. The SILY sessions will be his first time performing in Australia. If you’re interested in more information on YoungstaCPT, check out his Facebook site here.
Included in the ticket is access to the famous SILY antipasti table, and $12 Herradura Margaritas all day. For tickets, click here. Remember, these babies are selling fast so get in quick.
