Celebrate all things Whiskey at the Annual Rye July event
Love whiskey? Then you’ll love Rye July! The Glenmore Hotel are celebrating their second Rye July event with a Night of Whiskies and we have a double pass to giveaway. The night of Thursday 14th July will see the pub transform with whiskey cocktail masterclasses, local and international tastings, and canapés to match. Each room on the middle level of The Glenmore will transform into a “playland” for whiskey lovers to explore different types of whiskey and ways to mix and pair them.
The Club Room will host former Masterchef contestant and National Johnnie Walker and Classic Malt ambassador Sean Baxter. He will divulge his top tips on all things whiskey and will talk guests through various tastings.
Tim Oughton, brand ambassador for Diageo, will have rotating cocktail masterclasses happening in the Drawing Room. He will teach guests how to make rye cocktails that are easy enough to make at home.
With American, Scottish, Irish and even Australian whiskey’s available to try and buy, there is ought to be something for everyone.
Tickets are normally $55 with a tasting glass and 5 tokens but one lucky whiskey lover and their friend will win tickets to enjoy a night of tasting and making.
